Remembrance Sunday 2020

Following the government's announcement on 31 October, this year's Remembrance Sunday will be online only - streamed live on our Facebook page and on our YouTube Channel (start the YouTube video at 10:30am on 8 Nov).

Additionally, the church will be open between 2:00pm and 4:00pm for people to come and light a candle, say a prayer and lay a poppy by the memorial. Hand gel will be available, but please wear a mask.

A Prayer for Remembrance Day:

O God of truth and justice,
we hold before you those people
who have been injured or who have died in active service.
As we honour their courage and cherish their memory,
may we put our faith in your future;
for you are the source of life, peace and hope,
now and forever.
Amen.
