Funeral of Oscar Cubitt

A memorial service of celebration and thanksgiving for the life of Oscar Cubitt will be held at St John's on Wednesday 8 June at 2:30pm. This service will be livestreamed at As we are expecting the church to be very full, if you would like to join the service but knew Oscar less well, it may be better to join the livestream and leave a comment for the family. Please continue to hold Alex, Rob and Natasha and the family in your prayers.

This Sunday, 5 June, there is a spoken service of Holy Communion at 9:00am and an All Age service 10:30am, both in church.

In the afternoon, as part of the Jubilee celebrations at The Blackbourne, there will be a Christians Together In Elmswell service to celebrate Pentecost and the Jubilee at 2:00pm. Do come to The Blackbourne. Please do support this event.

Church Tidy

Please come along to the church on Saturday 25 June from 10:00am to noon to help tidy the churchyard and church. There will be a range of jobs to be done both inside and out. Your support will be greatly appreciated

Sunday 26 June - Book your place at the church barbecue

On 26 June, Tom Fifield will be speaking about his work in Ethiopia at 10:30am. The service will be followed by coffee and then the church barbecue. Please see Lisa to book your place – the cost is £7.50 (children over 4 £3.00).
