We begin this week with a Lent thought to ponder:

If you missed the service on Sunday, remember you can watch it on our YouTube channel.

There are 2 services this coming Sunday. There is a shorter service of Holy Communion at 9:00am (with no hymns). At 10:30am, our main service is the all age family service, when we will be reflecting on the parable of the mustard seed.

Extra Holy Week Service and Lunch (27 March)
During Holy Week (the week running up to Easter weekend), we have a Communion service on Maundy Thursday evening at 7:30pm. I am aware this is not convenient for some of our congregation. I would, therefore, like to add a day time Communion on Wednesday 27 March at 12:15pm, which will be followed by a Lent Lunch with soup and rolls. Including this service in Holy Week will depend on the level of interest, so if you would like to come please let me know by emailing elmswellrector@gmail.com or calling 01359 240512 .

Crisp Packets
You may be aware that, over the past few years, we have been collecting crisp bags in the church porch for recycling. As crisp packets are now accepted at many supermarkets for recycling, this will now stop.

Food 'n' Friends
On the second Thursday on each month (noon to 2pm), Elmswell Baptist Church run a Food 'n' Friends club, which provides some hot food and companionship for the older person. If you would like to join in, please call Jackie Hull on 01359 245918.

Prayer
The weekly church prayer meeting is on Zoom on Saturday at 9:00am for 40 minutes. You are welcome to join us by clicking here or, load Zoom and use Meeting ID: 685 295 1296 and Password: 816262.
