St John's news (including barbecue this Sunday)

Dear friends,

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation,
by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding,
will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

The St John’s barbecue takes place at church this Sunday (21 July) after the morning service. Please email Peter (elmswellrector@gmail.com) with numbers and any dietary requirements. Suggested donations are £8 per adult, £4 for children aged 6 to 16, £2 for toddlers.

The reading on Sunday will be Philippians 4:10-23 and Sunday School will be concluding the year by looking at the second half of Jonah.
