A PRAYER FOR HRH THE PRINCESS OF WALES
Gracious God,
we pray for the continued recovery
of the Princess of Wales,
for her husband, and for their family.
Grant to them.
and to all who are affected by sickness,
faith, hope, and the knowledge of your love?
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Remembering the conflicts of the past and the sacrifices which were made, we pray for our world where war still goes on. Lord, as we remember those who have lost their lives, help us to renew our fight against cruelty and injustice, against prejudice, tyranny and oppression. We pray for an end to war and violence in Ukraine. Myanmar, Yemen and other countries. We pray for the truce to hold in Ethiopia and for countries like Afghanistan and Syria still affected by violence. Amen

Gracious God, we give thanks for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
and may her example continue to inspire us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen

We pray for those taken prisoner in the war in Ukraine. Lord protect them and give them hope.

Holy and Gracious God
We pray for the people of the Ukraine and the people of Russia; for their countries and their leaders.
We pray for all those who are afraid; that your everlasting arms hold them in this time of great fear.
We pray for leaders to remember that you direct us to turn our swords into ploughshares and seek for peace.
We ask this in the name of your blessed Son.

I want to try and get healthy. I am 29 years old. I've neglected myself for a long time mostly because of depression and anxiety. Also due to me being lazy. I fear that it might be too late for me to try and get healthy.

Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give your angels and saints charge over those who sleep.
Tend your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest your weary ones.
Bless your dying ones.
Soothe your suffering ones.
Pity your afflicted ones.
Shield your joyous ones, and all for your love's sake.

We pray for the continued distress caused by the uncertainty of COVID and BREXIT.

Today we are praying for those struggling with physical and mental ill-health.

Loving Father, we ask that you draw near to people who need Your loving touch because of ill-health. We pray especially for those who are more likely than others to become severely ill from COVID-19 — the elderly and people with chronic health conditions. We ask for your protection for them, for you to be their comfort in this time of uncertainty. Please take away the fear, anxiety, and feelings of isolation from people receiving treatment or under quarantine. Protect their families and friends and bring peace to all who love them.

Loving Father, we are so grateful for all our healthcare and other key workers, for their invaluable service to us all. As we pray for them today, we ask that they may know Your love and peace as they serve others. That they may know Your joy in the face of suffering, and that they may know Your hope for the future. We also give thanks for all the scientists and medical experts involved in finding the coronavirus vaccine. We thank God for their dedication, perseverance and service.

Today we are praying for Schools and Colleges, Children and Young People.

Loving Father, we lift our children and young people up to you. You love and care for each and every one of them, and we ask that they may understand how deeply seen and known they are by you. We also give thanks for our amazing teachers and support workers, and the many more who care for our children and young people. We thank you for their dedication and hard work over the last few difficult months, and pray that you would renew their strength today.

Today we are praying for all those who are grieving, and all suffering with physical and mental ill-health.

Loving Father, would you draw near to all those who are grieving, and all those with poor physical and mental ill-health today. Would you comfort them in their suffering, so that they may know your peace and love. Would you give them your strength to face the day, and a deep sense of hope for the future. May they know that they are not alone in their suffering, but that you walk alongside them.

Today we are praying for family, friends and loved ones.

Today, we pray for those who are closest to our hearts, our family and friends. For those who have poor health, we pray for healing. For those feeling isolated, we pray for them to know hope. We pray that even when loved ones cannot physically be together, they would not feel apart. May we know how to communicate, connect and care for them, that they would know Your love.

Today we are praying for Healthcare and other key workers.

Today will you join us in praying for those who work in health and social care and all other key workers. We are so grateful for their service and sacrifice, dedication and determination. Loving God, please protect them, bless them, encourage them and keep them safe as they work tirelessly to keep us safe.

Today's prayer for the nation is focused on praying for businesses, the workplace and economic wellbeing.

In this time of great challenge, we pray for the economic wellbeing of the country. We remember before God those who face great uncertainty in their work.

We lift before God those who have lost their jobs and face an uncertain and difficult future. We pray for a renewed commitment to our common life together.

Today we are praying for the Elderly, Isolated and Vulnerable.

We pray today for the elderly and those who are most at risk from the coronavirus, we pray that they would be protected.

For those who are lonely, that they would be comforted, for those who are vulnerable, that they would be shielded.

We hold before God all those who care for them – that they would be strengthened and encouraged in this work.

Today we are praying for schools and colleges, children and young people.

We pray for all those involved in the shaping of young lives. We give God thanks for the sacrifice and commitment of teachers and all those involved in serving children and young people in education.

We pray that all might be nurtured and cared for, and that every needful resource would be made available – that all lives can flourish even in these difficult times and that no-one would be overlooked.

Today we are praying for family, friends and loved ones.

We lift to God those we hold in our hearts – praying for their health, their well-being and their sense of hope. We pray that even when loved ones cannot physically be together they would not feel apart. We ask for God’s help in our communicating, our connecting and our caring.

Today, we remember all those fallen in war and conflict and pray for peace and reconciliation across the world.

For those afraid, lonely and worried about income during this second lockdown.

We were all so shocked and horrified to see the devastation in Beirut after the explosion at the port. We please pray for the country of Lebanon, the residents of Beirut and all who are helping emergency services there.

God of love, whose compassion never fails;
Gather our hearts, minds, and voices as one as
we bring before you the griefs and perils of the people of Beirut, Lebanon
in the aftermath of this week’s catastrophic explosions.

United in solidarity with our Lebanese sisters and prayers, we pray:

May the beauty of the gardens of Lebanon be restored.
May the peace shattered in Beirut be renewed.
May your children taken from this world by the blasts in Beirut,
be welcomed mercifully into your embrace.
And, may their loved ones who remain be comforted by your love.

I am crying for prayers, I am so tired, physically, mentally and emotionally, I don't know what to do anymore.
Please help my son Dan business be successful and prosperous
Please help us sell our condo quickly and move to smaller unit, it's too much financially draining us completely, I cannot handle it anymore, I am extremely depressed.
Please help Dan and Mark, his brother be very close to each other.

Lord God we pray for all staff, parents and pupils as primary schools plan to reopen next week. May all those who are fearful find peace and strength at this time and we pray for safety in all aspects of school life as the pupils return. We think particularly of Elmswell school at this time, please be working in that place in the coming weeks. Amen

Thank you lord for all the good things that are around us in this lovely village at this time of national crisis. Let us all pull together, continue to take care of each other and survive to move forward as a nation when the time is right to do so.

Dear god thanks for getting my cousins partner , and getting through covid 19 , and , prayers to everyone struggling with they mental health and finical worries , I give these prayers to you god

Please pray for all people who are struggling with loneliness and isolation, particularly during lockdown. May God give them the strength needed to reach out and ask for help. And let them feel God's presence throughout, so they know they are never truly alone. In Jesus name we pray, Amen

Dear Lord, I pray for the people of Elmswell who are struggling with the lockdown. Please be with them and give them peace. Thank you for all the key workers who are keeping our village and our country running. We are so grateful. Amen.

We pray for those who do not yet know Jesus in our families, our village, our workplaces and our friendship groups. We pray that from the tremendous difficulties of Coronavirus, people will feel compelled to ask questions and seek answers which lead them to God and an understanding of His love for them. As Christians, May we have the right answers for people when needed and be willing and able to give voice to our own hope and faith. Amen.

Please pray for my father as he is very poorly and has probably only got a couple of hours left and for my mother at this difficult time.
