This year we are not only supporting the needs of local people and the Stowmarket Foodbank, we will also be raising money for Raising Families. The collection and money raised from our lemon-themed refreshments will go to this programme run by Samaritan's Purse.

For vulnerable families living in Sub-Saharan Africa, you could say that 'Life has given them Lemons', or to put it differently, that life has dealt them a very tough hand.

78% of families can't afford to send their children to school

9 out of 10 families don't have sufficient & nutritious food

79% of families live in inadequate, damp or unsafe shelter

However, together with the Local Church, Samaritan's Purse Raising Families programme teaches Families that God can use whatever 'they have in their hands' to completely transform their lives.
