News update - including Ernest's new appointment

Dear friends,

Jesus said to them, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.' And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
Mark 10:14-16

God loves people of all ages and it was a joy to see a good number of children at Sunday's All Age service hearing about Jesus. If you were unable to make it, you can watch the service here.

In case you missed Sunday's important notice about Ernest's good news - We are pleased to announce that Rev'd Ernest Okeke is to take up the post of Rector of Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge and Little Wenlock in the Diocese of Hereford (https://www.coalironlitt.co.uk/). Bishop Richard will be licensing Ernest on 18th September in Coalbrookdale at 11.30am. Our love and prayers are with the family as they prepare for their move. We will miss them all greatly. I can't believe four years have passed since Ernest joined us.

Looking ahead to this coming Sunday (8 August), our service at 10:30am is based on John 10:1-10 and includes a baptism. Hope you can make it.
