Congratulations to Ernest Okeke, who was inducted as the Rector of Coalbrookdale, Ironbridge and Little Wenlock on Saturday. It was a lovely service and Ernest asked that I convey his best wishes to all his friends in Elmswell. There are 3 photographs here.

Nutz 'n' Boltz concert
John Evan's band, Nutz 'n' Boltz, are playing a fundraising concert in church on Friday 1 Oct 8:00pm. The cost is £7. Please just turn up on the night and support this great evening of entertainment with music mainly from the 50s and 60s.
If you would like to help sponsor Phearak Moeng, the teenager St John's supports in Phnom Penn, Cambodia, please email Chris hall or place a donation in an envelope marked "Phearak" and pass to Mike Brown or Peter.
Prayer Meeting

Coming up in October:
Sunday 3 Oct 10:30am - Harvest Celebration (all age). Please bring donations of non-perishable goods to church. Unfortunately we cannot pass on fresh produce at the moment.
Saturday 9 Oct 10:00am - Churchyard tidy-up. We will be aiming to spend a couple of hours cutting back grass, bushes and clearing up leaves.
Sunday 10 Oct 10:30am - Mission Sunday supporting Christians Against Poverty.
Saturday 30 Oct 7:00pm - St John's Quiz Night (on Zoom). £5 per person.
