St John's men's breakfast, barbecue on 21 July and other news

Dear friends,

I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection
and the fellowship of sharing in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,
and so, somehow, to attain from the resurrection of the dead.

A reminder that a men's breakfast will be held in the Church Room this Saturday, 6 July, at 8:30am. Please email Peter if you can come and have not yet signed up.

There are 2 services this coming Sunday. There is a shorter service of Holy Communion at 9:00am (with no hymns). At 10:30am, our main service is the all age family service and includes the baptism of Oliver Atherton.

There will be a barbecue at church on 21 July after the morning service. Please sign up at the back or email Peter with numbers and any dietary requirements. Suggested donations are £8 per adult, £4 for children aged 6 to 16, £2 for toddlers.
