Slam Jam Choir - Dates for December
Dear Slamjammers
There are several dates for your SlamJam diaries coming up in the next few weeks :-
Saturday 13th December 10.30am short rehearsal for "Winter Snow" at St John's Church
Sunday 14th December 10.30am Nativity service at St Johns Church featuring Slam Jam performance of "Winter Snow"
Thursday 18th December 6.30pm meet at Village sign for an hour of Carol singing around the village
Saturday 20th December 4pm rehearsal (venue TBC) for rehearsing "Oh What a night" for 3.30pm Christmas Eve service
Tuesday 23rd December 4pm rehearsal (Venue TBC) for rehearsing "Oh What a night" for 3.30pm Christmas Eve service
Wednesday 24th December 3.30pm at St John's Christmas Eve all age service - Performance of "Oh What a night"
We realise that not everyone can make everything, so please just come along and join in at those times and dates which suit your Christmas schedules!
Aside from these dates, there is a service of 9 lessons and Carols on Sunday 21st December at St Johns at 6,30pm for those of you that love to sing Christmas Carols and also the Village Carol service on Monday 15th December at 6pm. Slam Jam will not be performing at either of these events but everyone is welcome to come along.
Finally, you may find it useful to have a listen to the "Winter Snow" song and "Oh What a Night" on You tube to give you an idea of how the tunes sound. There will be new words to Oh What a night to make us think about the real Christmas story.....!
